Primary Talent Partners is committed to increasing minority candidate flow in the contingent labor programs we support.
Our organization is deeply committed to increasing the number of qualified Black candidates in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and professional fields. We are constantly striving to enhance DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) on all fronts. Through our initiatives, we aim to equip minorities with the necessary skills and resources to excel. Furthermore, we are building a community of diverse talent for IT, engineering, professional, and science roles.
Equipping minority students in STEM and professional programs
Building a community of diverse talent with modern strategies
Connecting minority students with options to further their professional goals
Research has shown that companies prioritizing diversity and inclusion in their executive teams outperform their peers. Companies that rank in the top quartile for gender diversity are 21% more likely to have better profitability and 27% more likely to have superior value creation. Similarly, companies in the top quartile for racial and ethnic diversity are 35% more likely to have returns above national industry medians.
Moreover, having a diverse workforce is not only the right thing to do, but it also provides a competitive advantage. A diverse workforce brings in people with different backgrounds and worldviews, leading to better decision-making, more significant innovation, and higher engagement in the workplace.
Additionally, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts improve a company's reputation, making attracting and retaining top talent easier.
The diversIT program was designed to increase the number of minority candidates in STEM and professional fields by offering substantive financial and emotional support to HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) students enrolled in a STEM program.
We collaborate with our industry partners to grant co-branded scholarships to Black students pursuing STEM and professional programs at HBCUs.
As these scholars progress through their college education, we offer them mentorship and access to PrimaryPathways™ associateships with our clients, which we fund.
To provide them with all the necessary resources, we also offer stipends for housing, professional attire, and more to ensure they are well-equipped for their internships. Moreover, we offer our networks the option to hire these scholars upon graduation at no additional cost.
As part of our commitment to supporting higher education and diversity, we allocate a percentage of every billable hour to fund scholarships. These scholarships are offered to diversIT Scholars and provide them with a range of benefits, such as:
