Hurricane Helene brought heavy rainfall, strong winds, and significant flooding to various regions, particularly affecting parts of North and South Carolina. The hurricane caused extensive property damage, uprooted trees, and disrupted daily life for many residents. The impact was widespread, with communities working to recover from the devastation left in its wake.
PTP leaders organized a campaign for industry stakeholders to join them in contributing to relief efforts. As a result, the collective organizations raised over $5,000 to purchase items like large-scale shipping and water containers, toiletries, and hygiene products to be donated to locals, including a fire department whose station was completely washed away during the storm.
